Natural spaces in Palma

Banner Espais naturals de Palma

While Palma boasts a wealth of natural spaces, the best known of these is probably Cabrera, both for its unique nature and its status as a national park. It is also worth highlighting the natural spaces that have so far resisted the pressure generated by human development along the coastline, such as Ses Fontanelles and Es Carnatge, which are currently in the process of recovery. Other Special Protection Areas are included in the European network Red Natura 2000 and include the Barrancos de Son Gual y Xorrigo and the Paraje Natural de la Serra de Tramuntana
