Cala Major

The beach coastline is 200 metres long and 80 metres wide. Cala Major is one of the most popular beaches in Palma since it is located very close to the city. The beach has been recently regenerated and has been enlivened thanks to the hotel that overlooks the beach.

The beach is situated in one of the most touristic areas within the municipality of Palma, Cala Major, which has developed to a major touristic centre since the times of the first touristic boom. This beach welcomes a wide range of visitors. Apart from attracting visitors during the summer time, it is also a very much preferred destination in the winter time, since it is completely protected from northern winds, that can be very cold at that time of the year.
