The City Council of Palma will take the chance that the Government will be investing in a new exhibition centre in Palma to create a major point of attraction for economic, sportive and socio-cultural activity, that will meet the historical demands of the neighbourhoods Son Cotoner, Es Forti, Camp de Serralta and Son Dameto. This is how the Government and the City Council of Palma explained the project at the proposal presentation event: "The new Lluís Sitjar façade, a new area within the city", which will be the beginning of a participative process that will count with the participation of the neighbourhood representatives, neighbourhood federations and associations, professional associations, homeowners as well as the Government and the City Council of Palma.
